Yes, we had it all, snow, rain, sunshine, but most of all we had a brilliant day at the Creswell Crags Leap Day Mayhem.
Circus Workshop for kids young and old
Even with weather, that was forecasted to be a bit of everything, and held up to this forecast, the turnout at the Creswell Crags Museum & Prehistoric Gorge was amazing. We had a great group of participants for our Circus Workshop and not only the kids, but mums and dads as well, learnt and enjoyed juggling, playing the diabolo, plate spinning and so much more.
The tallest visitor, not only that day, was for sure Steve from Circus Wunderbar, on his stilts. Quite a challenge for the smaller ones to “high five” the giant.
Even the Mascot, a mammoth, joined in. I mean if you can bring a mammoth to do circus skills, you must be doing something right.
Juggling and passing with Black Pig Border Morris Dancers
You really haven’t seen it all, before you have seen the Black Pig Border Morris Dance Group. What a joy to watch this rather unusual group performing and joining in with some juggling and some shenanigans on the unicycle. The most amazing outfits underline the joy this group brings to an event and it was a real pleasure to entertain the audience alongside them.
An amazing event in an amazing venue
If you have missed it, you have missed it. But there are more events and the Creswell Crags, the Gorges and the beautiful surroundings are worth a visit even without an event. Make sure you pay it a visit. You can find out more here: https://www.creswell-crags.org.uk/
Make your event as fantastic as this one
How would you do that? The first step is to get in touch with us and see how we can make your event a fun day for everyone. This is what the organisers had to say:
“Creswell Crags Museum & Prehistoric Gorge: Thank you – you were a huge part of making it such a great event. We’ll very much look forward to welcoming you back to the Crags for another event! Hopefully with less snow next time..”
