I got my first set of juggling balls back in 1986 and was fascinated from the art of juggling straight away. The first few tricks with balls achieved, more props followed: Clubs, Diabolos, Devil Stick, Unicycle, Rola Bola, Stilts, Balloon Modeling you name it.
Only a short while juggling as a hobby the first gigs followed. From private parties it involved quick to bigger stages in my hometown of Bielefeld (Germany).
The biggest performance so far was a fireshow at the half time entertainment at the American Football World League semi finals (Rheinfire Duesseldorf vs Barcelona Dragons) in front of a 35.000 strong audience.
I have been busking all over Europe and entertained street festival, night clubs, cooperate events and private parties. I am proud to be part of the Film Paa Joe & the Lion, an documentary film about Paa Joe – a fantasy coffin maker from Ghana.
I love juggling and entertaining the crowd as much as I love to teach the fascination for this art form. From circus skills workshops for kids, as well as adults to the summer school at Nottingham Trend University.
Everyone can enjoy juggling and circus arts – you just have to try and enjoy.
I love to make kids of all ages and adults in the audience smile and teach them skills, they never thought they would have. No matter if I juggle, do a fireshow, walk as a giant on stilts or bring a sparkle in the spectators eyes with giant bubbles – as long as people smile with their face and heart – it was a good day.
